Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how AIHomes Inc., a Virginia corporation (“AIHomes”), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use the AIHomes websites, mobile applications, and related services (together, the “Platform”). By using the Platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Information AIHomes Collects

Information you provide

AIHomes collects the categories of personal information described below when you provide them:

• contact and account information, such as your name, email address, phone number, and login credentials;
• your mailing address and the address and details of your home or property, and documents and records you upload about your home;
• payment information, which is processed by a third-party payment processor and is not stored in full by AIHomes;
• communications you send to AIHomes and information you provide when you request or engage a service provider through the Platform.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Platform, AIHomes automatically collects your IP address, device and online identifiers, browser type, pages viewed, and other usage and interaction data, including through cookies and similar technologies.

Information from third parties

AIHomes may receive information about you from service providers, analytics providers, and the builders, contractors, and other providers you choose to engage through the Platform.

3. How AIHomes Uses Information

AIHomes uses personal information to:

• provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Platform;
• create and manage your account and connect you with builders, contractors, manufacturers, warranty companies, and other providers;
• process payments and fulfill transactions;
• provide customer service and respond to your messages;
• protect against fraud and secure the Platform, and detect and address security incidents;
• analyze usage and develop new features; and
• send administrative and, where permitted, marketing communications, which you may opt out of.

4. How AIHomes Shares Information

AIHomes shares personal information only as described here:

• with service providers that support the Platform, such as hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, and fraud prevention vendors;
• with the builders, contractors, and other providers you choose to engage, to the extent needed to deliver the services you request;
• with government or law enforcement when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property; and
• in connection with a merger, financing, or sale of the business, subject to this Privacy Policy.

AIHomes does not sell your personal data.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

AIHomes uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform, remember your preferences, measure performance, and analyze usage. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, but some features of the Platform may not work properly if you do.

6. Analytics

AIHomes uses analytics providers, such as ____________________, to understand how users interact with the Platform. These providers process usage data on AIHomes’s behalf under their own privacy terms.

7. Marketing Communications

If AIHomes sends promotional email, each message will identify AIHomes, include a valid physical mailing address, and provide a clear way to unsubscribe. AIHomes will honor an opt-out request promptly and within the time the CAN-SPAM Act requires, and will not sell or transfer the email address of anyone who opts out. If AIHomes sends promotional text messages, it will first obtain your express consent and will honor STOP requests, consistent with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Transactional and account messages are not promotional and may still be sent.

8. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, the Platform does not currently respond to them. AIHomes will update this section if that changes.

9. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

The Platform is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. AIHomes does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. AIHomes does not condition a child’s participation in any activity on disclosing more information than is reasonably necessary.

If AIHomes learns that it has collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, AIHomes will delete that information promptly. A parent or guardian who believes a child under 13 has provided personal information may contact AIHomes at the address in the Contact section to review, request deletion of, or refuse further collection of that information, and AIHomes will honor the request.

If AIHomes ever offers a feature directed to children under 13, it will first provide direct notice to parents and obtain verifiable parental consent as required by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.

10. Your Virginia Privacy Rights

The Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (the “VCDPA”) gives Virginia residents rights over their personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling.

Based on its current size and practices, AIHomes is not currently subject to the VCDPA, because it does not process the personal data of at least 100,000 Virginia consumers in a year and does not derive over half of its revenue from selling personal data. AIHomes nonetheless honors the rights described above as a matter of practice, and will fully comply with the VCDPA if it becomes subject to the law. To exercise a right, contact AIHomes as described in the Contact section. AIHomes will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right, and you may appeal a denied request by replying to AIHomes’s response.

11. Data Retention

AIHomes retains your personal information for as long as your account is active and for up to 365 days after your account is closed or the information is no longer needed, and longer only where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements, after which AIHomes deletes or de-identifies the information.

12. Data Security

AIHomes uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and AIHomes cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. How to Access or Delete Your Information

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting AIHomes at ____________________ (privacy and deletion requests). AIHomes may need to verify your identity before acting on a request and may retain certain information as required by law.

14. Payments

AIHomes uses ____________________ to process payments. When you make a purchase, your payment card information is provided directly to the processor under its own privacy and security terms, and AIHomes does not store your full card number.

15. Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform may link to third-party sites and providers that AIHomes does not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and you should review their privacy policies.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

AIHomes may amend this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last Updated” date above, and your continued use of the Platform after a change means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
